Hi all, Would like your thoughts/experience with the Mud Buddy that was equipped with the 29HP Kawasaki Liquid Cooled (as in radiator) engine. From what I can tell Mud Buddy used this 29 HP Kawasaki a few years around '02 to 04. Any experience with this engine as far as performance and reliability? I'm considering purchasing one, but a bit concerned because doesn't seem like Mud Buddy stuck with the Kawasaki very long... wonder why? Anybody know? Sure appreciate any info... I am interested in this used on I found, but if there were issues in general with the Kawasaki version, I'll pass and go with a more popular/common engine like the Vangard, Kohler, Briggs, etc. Thanks! We ran a 29 Kaw Longtail Mud Buddy and loved it. It always started! I do know that parts can be expensive. Had to replace our fuel pump because the posts broke off. Was lucky and found one for $170 but usually they are way more! It always ran like a champ. Our buddy bought ours and he loves it. Good solid motor in my opinion! How much is he asking? |

weight and price were issues. i dont think you can do much to mod one. i dont beleave there were any problems with the motor just better options. |
