 Speed question
29 hp mud buddy hyper drive on a 1650 alweld solo I'm about 22 to 24 mph but with another hunter and dog and gear getting about 14 mph just wondering if a new prop is in order or what y'all think ? Thanks

biggest speed with load killer on a mudmotor is a hull that is not designed for a a mudmotor. I guarantee you there are a ton of folks on here who have learned that the hard way, including me. If you have a grizzly, war eagle, semi-v, whatever and are getting good performance with a mudmotor on the back, consider yourself VERY lucky. A 29 is a big block motor and on a 16 foot mud hull (with a good prop) would tote the mail with that load.

ran 25 with 3 guys and hunting ld in a 1648 alweld with a 35 gdsd so I would say something is wrong

If your Rpms are not drastically low is would say your prop does need to be replaced

If you're running the stock prop that came with it, it's probably not a big blade. Get yourself a MB big blade and you should see a pretty significant difference.
I had a 31hp MB with the small prop and had the same problems, switched to the big blade, and it made a world of difference.
