just threw the new unit on the back of the boat and headed to the Chatahoochee for a quick test run. All bone stock 08 short transom on a '04 go devil 16-44. Me and the dog, we ran 28 in deep water down the river and 26.5 up river. Finally, a boat/motor combo that satisfies me (for now  )

Nice rig, let me know how it carries a load. I'd love some more power on my 16, hate running 3 guys in it. Moves like a slug. |

they sell a conversion kit. A hurst shifter and an allison tranny out of a duramax, all with a BPS stamp on it... |

gonna ride this weekend with 2 or 3 folks and a 56 qt. will let ya know. I can pretty much tell the torque for hauling a load is there with the briggs big block, but will confirm. |
