I picked my boat up yesterday from Jessie and Corey, It looks awesome and came out very nice. When I stand back and look at it I can tell that Jessie and Corey put a lot of HEART & SOUL in this build, They are great guys to deal with. It's a 1754 w/ extended front deck, tall transome, 3/16" bottom & transome, 1/8" x 20" tall sides, 2 battery trays and tank bracket in front 1 battery tray in the back, 2 seat base's in the back, shark eyes running lights, seat box, grab bar and im sure i am forgetting something. I have a Pro-Drive that I up graded the power head to a 36hp and ordered the kit today to make it a long shaft. I still have to rig the boat when I get time to work on it. I can't wait until I can get this thing in the water, I will try and get some pictures up when I get time. And when I can get some numbers on the speed I will update the post.

Well I found out how good jessie's welds are. Sunday I threw the fuel hose and tank in and took it out for a little run. (I couldn't take not riding in it anymore.) I ended up in some 1' to 1 1/2' rollers and it beat the dog crap out of the boat. It handled the rough water very well, If I would have been in my other boat I would not have been able to walk the next day. With me and my two sons, 12 gallons gas and a battery it ran 27 mph on gps, thats with a prop with some were on it. I will update as info becomes available.

Just a little update. I now have about 18 1/2 hours on the boat and motor with no problems. I am having a lot of fun learning this combo. It can take me places that I only dreamed of going with my other boats. I ordered a gallon of Duralux and a gallon of Gator Glide G2 last week, I hope I can get it painted this month. It seems like the motor is loosening up, In neutral it idles at 1200rpm's, and in gear it idles at 850rpm's and 4mph. It takes a lot of grass to start to bog it down to were I have to give it throttle. I will update as I put more time on it and I will get some more pictures after I get it painted.

Hi all, I finally have time to do an update. I have about 26 hours on my rig. I put the gator glide on and had the boat painted, I only ran the boat once since having the gator glide, so I can't say anything about it yet. With a load of about 650lbs (people & gear) it will run 27.5, add 175lbs of batterys and more gear and it will do around 25, with around 1050lbs it will do between 18 & 19. The boat and motor are holding up very well. Next year I plan on doing some upgrades to the motor so it will carry a load better.
