Post False floor thickness??
Getting material list together for my boat build. Trying to decide between .100 and .090 for the false floor. Watcha got? Trying to cut down on weight as much as possible.

The less I would go with is .100. The difference of .125 and .100 is not enough to notice if you have .125 extra that is what I would put.

Still haven't forgot about you for the sides for crimps. Been tied up at work so just starting to get going.

My last rig was the.100 riveted in floor with gutters on sides. My new one has welded .125 full floor. Spend the extra time/money and get the .125 floor welded in . U will like it much better.

i put .80 first to save weight but had to change it out ,on ribs 1' apart it would flex some; 1/8 now is good; sure with ribs close together u could get by with .100
