1854 3/16/" bottom 24" sides wide gunnel custom boxes full floor. sport deck 36 pro drive 26gps avg me (230) and dog 10 gallons. 21 avg me 2 other guys light gear Also has removable gun box. Still have to get canvas flap made to cover gas tank, and need some driving lights...any ideas. Had the boat for a few months now. Put some hours on it and have really enjoyed it. Jason did a great job on it. It was my first build and I'm happy with it. Only change I would make would be a shorter rake. Not knowing I asked for a long rake but think the shorter rake would help me on getting up to speed. Boat is a tank and I don't have to worry about running the stumps. Now just need to do some mods to the motor to go a bit faster. But that will have to wait till next year probably. Will post some more pics later |

those are decent speeds for that big rig and stock motor. looks like you are one of the few who dont just add a couple mph. |

Post subject: | Re: 1854 Uncle J |
ya why do that when everybody knows you're are full of shit! Now... I did hit 45 mph pulling a wakeboard!! LMAO. but really its not to bad when its just me I ran it for 2 hours yesterday on big water and it seemed fast enough but when you put another guy in there its night and day. I like speed so I need about 50 horses to be satisfied. |

How many letters must separate f, r, o, and g in a post in order to be within MMT law once the ban goes into effect? Did I cover it in my last post or would I still get my MMT license suspended for the minimum 90 days plus court costs? |

I'd like to know more about the ledge/shelf under the catwalks. I've thought about that before. Would be a nice thing to put shells on, etc. can you post some close ups? |

That was a great idea. And, it is tucked away under catwalk. Due to flare in sides, it isn't even in the way while walking. |

Very nice rig! Don't be disappointed with the long rake...a short rake actually hurts when you haul a load-- it tends to push water and makes it harder for your hull to ease up on pad. Take it from someone who wishes they had a long rake..... |

is it just me, or does the start of the rake look funky to yall? |

Post subject: | Re: 1854 Uncle J |
I agee, but I think it's the camera angle and the fact that the hull at that point is partially submerged. The profile/side shot doesn't look that way. |

I seen what you are talking about. Though, I looked at some pictures of the start of the build, and I dont see it the same. I think it is a bit of shadow and or picture angle. The rakes are drawn out 1' more that what is intended to insure that it is a smooth transition. |

I kind of like the rake. The shelves are a great idea! Tell me this: How the hell is the tree with the winch held on that trailer? |

Post subject: | Re: 1854 Uncle J |
Nevermind, just noticed the paddle sitting there. Made it look like the tree was off the side of the trailer. ![]() |

As far as the shelves. I love those things. I just throw my cell phone keys and gps in there and they ride good. Im gonna do led under them so I will have interior lighting. The boat is a long way from finished I just have to get some cash in my pocket. These damm kids are breaking me with the damm birthday parties every other week. AND J ....I want 10% on every shelf you install from now on LOL. |
