Don't offer more than the value of the used motor. You'll still need to find a "mud boat" to hang it on. |

the boat is a flat bottom allweld which should work with the boat since im only running cat tails anda foot of water at the least |

The boat will work fine fer what ya run. I run the same shit and my Alweld is great. Check fer the crank case leakin oil on them motors. Check fer any cracks in the belt housing all the way to the prop and especially the skeg area. |

I'm still confused about what kind of boat it is? So far you said it's a Lowe, a Lund, and an Alweld. Personally, I've never seen a flat boat on a roller trailer, but I guess anything is possible. Regardless, it's a 6 year old horizontally braced boat with a mud motor on it. In my opinion, that boat has little value when you are negotiating the price. Whether or not it will work for you is up to you to decide, but I thought your original post was about pricing and what to look for? You have any pictures of the thing yet? Have you/are you planning a test ride? How much is the guy asking? Got any idea why he is getting rid of it? Is the motor a 7000 from the factory or was it upgraded, and if it was, who did the work? |

its a welded lowe made by lund, 10000, has four boats and is working outa town too much, the motor was a 35hp upgraded by the factory mudbuddy up to a 7000 |

Negative , for that kind of money, you can find a true mud hull. At least a 1/8 inch boat for that amount. Sent from my C771 using Tapatalk |

Wow, 10K. I think you could get a better rig for that kinda money if your patient enough. Maybe offer $6500 and see how he reacts??? |

^^ Agreed. That boat will work fer ya but it ain't worth that kinda money. My new Alweld was only 3K with options and if I were ta slap that motor on it new it would only be 13K new. The rig is 6 years old and ain't worth it. You'd be better off gettin a new hull and start with a 35 on it. |

DO NOT spend 10 on that rig, thats wasting your money. $7000 max in good shape. |

As far as accessories: Headlights or a Go Light on the bow. I have a Go Light with a wireless remote control that works awesome. Your catwalks are perfect for putting some LED rope lights under them to light up your deck. I'd still go with the stereo first though, but that's just me. ![]() |
