Post SD newbie
Im new to the world of mud motors and need some help. I just recieved a dixie 10hp surface drive that I put on my 12' jon My wife and I took it out tonight on its maiden trip and I wasnt understanding it. This I will try to explain. I started it and then engaged the electric clutch and dipped the prop into the water, it hooked up and we were off. Then i decided to speed it up and there was no speeding up or slowing down, it was just one speed. The throttle doesnt do anything once the prop is in. Of course with the prop out I slow down. Anyways, I need help from someone with a little SD experience. Thank you so much.
