1848 Geaux Customs Bare Bones............... 36PD FPR tall transom 1guy-my 8yrs old daughter 2 batteries trolling motor seats, full tank petro all deep water cruise- 26-27mph top out at 27.5mph at 4100rpm nothing special but happy................................for now |

Try putting a K&N air filter on it and see how it does, with that and exhaust that motor may wake up some more (4100 sounds like its hot out of the box). |

Update: Shallow water: alone w/o trolling motor and battery solid 28.5mph alone with alot of porpoise.....4100rpm....was creeping real close to 29mph at times but the porpoise was killing it I am having a fuel issue wot it will surge and backfire.....Filter goes almost empty, Have checked and rechecked entire fuel line and tank and replaced filter.....called PD said to run a inline pump installed it this past Sun. hopefully get it in the water soon....... Edit- ran it Wed. with pump, all fixed running 4100-4200- at times, with all the gear running in the 28plus range.................... |
