Alright I know I'll get knocked right off the bat with this one: I have a 12ft. Jon boat with a slight V in the front sporting a Honda powered "copperhead" 9hp because I can't stand lct motors. It does exactly what I need it to do and the some but I take on probably around 2-3 gallons over a period of 4 hours which really pisses me off. I've tried painting the inside of the boat a d also used bed liner and still leaks. What are some good suggestions? |

You should find the leaks and repair them. |

While your boat is on the trailer, put the plug in and add water. This will make it easy to find your leaks! |

fillin the boat with water dont always work. weight of the water can push rivets closed if they leak. let the inside of yur boat dry out and then go stick it in the water. watch for leaks. mark them and take it out than fix them. once you narrow it down to a crack or just rivets, peice of cake then. hammer yur rivets tight or jb makes some pretty good epoxy water putty for a quick reliable fix. granted it aint gonna be as good as welding but it works. |
