Can anybody tell me the best surface drive to get thats not extremly expensive

They're all expensive, & at some point in time, they're all gonna suck (except Gator-Tail)

Here we go! If you wanna go cheap go with a Go-Devil if you wanna go with performance go with either Gator-tail or Pro-Drive....if you wanna have simplicty and jsut a great all around motor go with Gator-tail. User-friendly and great Customer Service and you deal with people that really know their product. Pro-Drive is the same way but your talking to different styles of motor. Both meant for doing the same thing just 2 different styles

All you need to know is the go devil goes forward all the time, your gunna want neutral and reverse!

Get a gator tail or pro drive

Gator tail has a more usable reverse for docking and fishing and does better in the mud

Prodrive has a good reverse to get you unstuck and won't do as good in the mud

Get ready I can see this one goin atleast 10 pages

just go with a name brand such as mud buddy, gatortail, prodrive, copperhead, or godevil.. dont go cheep with orion dixie ext.

A 35 go devil is 6000$ so don't act like its so much cheaper, and I will gladly pay the extra 1000$ for neutral, reverse,and trim hell ill pay the extra $$ for neutral!

Most of the people on here with GD's have mods giga... What about your ex sidekick robn? You gonna punch him in his balls for having mods?
