Thank you Ben for excellent service !! My Dixie mud motor was a custom build consisting of a Honda GX390 on an aluminum 23 frame. I wanted a pull start high performance engine. Works awesome. I’m trying to increase performance under load but the little Honda just can’t give anymore power. Ben offered an upgrade and all the assistance I needed. Dixie Mud motors is a great company. I’m looking forward to a new 35 Dixie. |

I'm not trying to knock the guys business at all. The motors do look pretty sweet and probably perform well also from the videos I've watched. As a small business owner my self my customers are my livelihood I set aside time each day to make contact with potential customers and customers who I'm currently servicing. It's as simple as that.... Good customer attention and no bill shit go along way. Taking 2-3days or a week to get back with people will cause the well to dry up real quick. Word of mouth is a deadly thing especially with the Internet these days. Ill give Ben another shot because I'd love to take a few motors off his hands and I like the product he is presenting. |

Thewrench - I owned a small business and understand first hand that most small business owners as not prepared for success when they start out. There comes a day when tough decisions need to be made as they come to grips with the fact they cannot do it all. Ben seems to have hit that wall. It is a good problem to have, but a big problem if not handled effectively. As of this week, Ben appears to have handed off his phone to concentrate on the backlog. At least he seems to know there is a problem and has taken steps, time will tell if he can make the transition. |
