 Alumacraft 1442
Thanks to you folks I’m almost done with my open design on my Alumacraft 1442. Turned out to be a great and very strong (Cheap ASS Alternative) to a real mud boat. The 42” bottom flares out to 60” and is actually very stable.
I’m running a small Mud motor and its maxing out at 24 mph (one person) w/ a 13 hp Honda motor & 9x10 prop. Got about 4.5k into the mud motor, trailer and boat. Everything is new 2012

 Re: Alumacraft 1442
That’s my tournament rigged contender 35' LOA. Yes it’s a bad ass boat. Runs 68 mph w/ twin 350 4 strokes. Faster than my old triple engine Donzi.
I have been obsessed with this duck hunting BS and can’t stop tinkering with the duck boat crap. The reality is that I absolutely suck as a duck hunter . I’m a terrible shot . I just love being out in the swamp in the early morning.
