Great looking rig. Did Back H20 start making boats or is that custom?

I run 5 dozen weighted keel assorted duck an a dozen goose. 8 gallon fuel cell in bow battery in rear of gun box. Wasnt sure if i was going to like the boxes running length of hull, But after loading boat they make a nice way of getting to the back of the boat. Great seating with the boat blind on also. Boat has exceeded all expectations big difference between a mud hull and a john boat. Yes BW is working on getting a line of boats but at present mostly custom.

Great looking hull! I would like the same. What gauge is that? .100 would be plenty for me, ideally could do with .090. I would sacrifice the side boxes to reduce weight and fully use the 48" width bottom, as I favor the open floor plan. The pods add what, another 3' to the overall length? Are the pods strong enough to use as entry when you are in waders- I like that idea because a "hunt deck" is probably not a good fit with the LT. How much did that puppy cost, any ballpark figure? Just asking because I definitely am going that size and motor in the future as a shortail is not needed by me. I visited the H2o site but there was no mention of custom boats.

The hull is all .1250 I was originally wanting a .100 but this is what I ended up getting . The pods add about 2ft to the length. My last 3 boats have had pods on them. They make a difference with the handling improves take offs and yes they are a great way of getting in the for the dog and a guy with bad knees. the pods work good with an outboard also

Thanks for the reply, Back H2O! I like the fact the pods won't interfere with a conventional outboard- I hope I have that optional outboard during the off-season when I don't need to get in the marsh and that way could fish more effectively and do some salt water bay fishing. There probably is not too big a weight difference between .125 and .100 and of course the thicker gauge the more longevity. I've heard that factor about welding being easier on the thicker gauges, however, I previously had an Alumaweld (now Xpress) 1544 in .090 gauge that was real solid, and if I could get something like that in an 18' hull I think it would be more than enough. A couple of friends have run 1648 Lowe rivetted hulls in .072 gauge with 25 LT's, which is thin, but never have had any issues running down here. I tell you every pound less helps in my areas, notwithstanding all the good reasons for a 1/4" hull in others. Did you tweak the throttle on that 35, and if so did that help any?
