I have a 16x46 gator tail boat with a 23 . I'm thinking about upgrading to a 35 but wondering how the boat will handle with the bigger motor on it. Any ideas? |

Cool I was worried because a lot of people said it wouldn't work and it would bounce like hell. Do y'all know if a 35 can fit on the 23 frame or do I have to buy a new set up? |

It depends on the frame and shaft size. You needs to look at that. The frame of a 23 might not be able to handle the tourqe of the 35. |

THe frames are the same just different holes drilled in plate for the different motors |

It will do just fine and will get it!! I got mine to 33mph with a stage 1. Handles great definitely not to much motor for that boat. I could use more
