Just bought a excel shallow water basic 1645 and looking for advice wether to get a 23, 27 or 35 mudbuddy. I do hunt by my self 70% of the time or so. I do occasionally hunt with one other guy but never 3. So basicly im looking to make it plain out with 2 guys a dog and about 3 dozen deeks. I plan on getting a mini to save alot of weight. So i would like to hear from someone who has the same boat and similar motors. Thanks. |

Not sure if any of this will help, but Excels have been discusses here a time or two. There might be one or two useful bits of information somewhere in the links below, it'll at least give you an idea of what you have... viewtopic.php?f=5&t=28957&hilit=Excel+boats viewtopic.php?f=5&t=18149 viewtopic.php?f=5&t=28929 http://mudmotortalk.com/mmt_v2/viewtopi ... =4&t=25441 http://mudmotortalk.com/mmt_v2/viewtopi ... =4&t=28698 |

If you can afford the 35 go with it and not regret it later. |

Ok I see on the mud buddy website that the 35 is like 6000 or close to that. What kind of price can i expect from a dealer. Im guessing its more but how much more.??? |

So what about a gator tail 25 with the subaru EFI. How would this run on this boat. Im guessing it has to be better than a MB 27.??? |
