 1848 aucoin cc gtr woke up this am, finally a day with little pain from getting 6 wisdom teeth removed. left the house at 7am, picked up a buddy and went run down to the copasaw out of bayou black. me(200lbs) tim(200lbs) one icechest with ice, 12pack, and about 14 fish ran at a constant 34.4mph. thats with a trolling motor mounted on the front deck and the biggest battery academy sales under the front hatch. 4 poles and two tackle boxes. deep water. approx 4450rpms. paul suggested i stay arond 4400, not sure what isnt considered safe so i stayed right there. overall i realy liek the boat and the way it runs. lol a lil harder to turn than what im used to but i love a lil challenge. also i broke a clamp on my evt exhaust. not sure what happened. seen it hanging so i grabbed it. anyone know where i can get one locally? but overall im very impressed with the power of the gtr, the speed of the rig, the craftsmanship of ricky aucoin's hull and paul's stupidity for selling her to me. thank all of you

Re: 1848 aucoin cc gtr thanx guys, im super happy with it. well taken care of, plenty fast enough for my needs. nice layout, spacious to fit a few people. even like the hydro turf. in my friends aluminum boat when ur fishin the sun reflects and keeps u hot, and the boat stayed cool for the most part. just need to get a few things welded in and ill be ready to paint it.
