Does anyone know anything about these boats. For the price and all the accessories it looks really good. Here is the website. http://www.dixiemudmotors.net/Sitemap1.html

Re: Dixie Mud Boats
There's another guy in boats and blinds asking. If you go look in cyber mudfest there's a post with almost 300 replys on their motors and customer service. I'm all about trying to sell a product for the best price to your customer but ultimately you get what you pay for.

Re: Dixie Mud Boats
I realize that but if they have problems and bad customer service on their motors to go with that cheap price why would their cheap boats be any different?

A manufacturer can't be a sponsor but a dealer can...

Re: Dixie Mud Boats
seeing the welds they put on their frames and the cuts they make on the aluminum, Your better off carving a boat out of a tree.

Re: Dixie Mud Boats
Eh, they aren't the best made product out there. They're good if that's what you can afford but it may spend some time in the shop. Then they've got these trolls that come on here and try to stir up talk about themselves but they don't understand it's all bad pr. Again they are an ok motor if that's what you can afford. Hell I owned one. as long as you aren't running stumps, and stay in deep water.. It's aight.

Re: Dixie Mud Boats
That being said, maybe this new owner can turn it around. Too late for me. As for a lot of others.

Re: Dixie Mud Boats
well at least your honest and I hope the new owner does a good job on my rig. Hes done a good job so far contacting me. I have a lot of other toys so its hard for me to sink 15-20 grand in a rig to duck hunt out of. Im just excited about going from an outboard to a surface drive...I mainly got it for grass and mud...im sure ill get the occasional stump every now and then. I guess only time will tell.
