I have an alumacraft 1442 with a 23 hp Dixie. Bad ass setup. Put your gas tank & battery up front and you will be ok. That's going to fly. You are looking at a 28 mph boat. Best of luck. |

Ive got a 25 I ran on someones home built 1448. The boat was heavy as shit, not to mention the bottom looked like a washboard. Running a steady 28 bumping 29. We put 4 people in it and were cruising 23-24. Thats alot of weight on the back of a 14 foot boat i must say. If you get one, ease it off plane or else you're gonna be bailing some water out. These 25s are badass, and have a lot of potential for mods in the future. We will see how it pushes by 1/8ths 1844 once I get it. I plan on posting a review fairly soon here, good luck with your search. I think you will be fired up with a 25gtr, I sure as hell am. |
