My buddy is running a 1438 with mudbuddy 23
What speeds should he be gating out of it?

Iol and yea I have that problem with my boat
Can't slow down fast or I get bout 2 foot of water in boat

I had a 1442 w/ 23 Dixie. To remedy the water over transom & CG issues I added homemade trim tabs. In my case it worked great.

You could stop at WOT. No water issues. Used scrap stainless my welder had. Bent it 90 degrees. Measured 10" wide x 6" long (both sides)

Did u get more speed with the tabs on?
