Sold my long tail boat so I could build a new boat so this is my new set up which I am extremely happy with all 2013products 1548 g3 dk edition(hull weight dry 420lbs) 23hp mini Mb crossover and carb (170lbs) 55lb I pilot trollingmotor 1deep cycle 58lbs 1cranking 25lbs hummingbird 597di so far me 172lbs my lab 65lbs and fishing gear I'm getting 25mph on GPS at 3850 rpms I know it's no mud hull but I am extremely happy with this set up and speed my 1448 and 24hp Honda long tail was doing 15mph so anyways next is heads cam roller rockers and push rods well that's all I got just happy to be holding onto a surface drive now

I live in northwest north Dakota people laugh when I tell them how much mud I really do run in and how shallow I run our rivers can go from 20ft to 6inches in a matter of 10ft and its so muddy water you can't tell and when there outboard can't follow they wanna ride with me to jump beaver dams and run across backwater mud flats to my honey holes I just tell them fresh find your own spot haha
