GT 17' x 54" w/ 35GTR
MM Brand:Gator Tail Horsepower:35 Boat Brand:Gator Tail Boat Size:17' x 54" Boat Layout: Standard layout
Speeds | Shallow Water: Did not test yet Speeds | Deep Water:29mph Total Boat Load With Gear Etc:2 people, icechest, 4 dozen decoys. Conditions Tested In: Tested in the GA Cut (deep water)
Comments: Picked up my new rig on Friday from Gator Tail. Made a quick run to the camp to drop off some decoys and a few other items. Top speed running in the GA Cut was 29 mph. I love the layout of the boat, also happy that the control box is on the handle and that the brace that holds the motor for traveling was installed when I picked it up. I thought that was something extra that you had to buy. Will really test it out this coming friday when we go brush the blind.

Note to self: Do not try to go through lilly's unless they have water underneath them..lol. Got the new rig stuck about 30 yards deep into some lillys that were on a mud flat. Managed to get out after some serious manuvering. Needless to say the motor is broken in.

Re: GT 17' x 54" w/ 35GTR
I was headed to shaws island, through ice box cove. When I came out of the small cut and headed to the trees I got too far to the right hand side and ran into lillys and solid mud. Got it turned around and went the back way.
