Ran it today. Runs fine. Big Blade prop outperforms the Hammer though - at least in top end speed.

Re: Mud Buddy V Sport Remote Steer
Lol, dumped the Vacuum Cleaner. Dude I sold it too says its running great and quiet, but I needed reverse, and what I like almost better than that is that the motor is operated by outboard helm controls. No longer need to be an Octopus to operate a remote steer older model with the clutch, throttle, and trim separated all over

Alright! We have lift off! You know, all the inquiring minds will be looking for some performance video in the thick stuff along with some GPS speeds. Give us a good review, man. Don't tease us!

Re: Mud Buddy V Sport Remote Steer
Sure thing bro. Plan to put her in the Mississippi River tomorrow for a speed test and some Mud south of Lake Pontchartrain this weekend. I'm running a 18x54 Gator Trax center console with extended deck, rear storage, etc so it's a real heavy rig with a hunt deck.

Gotcha, I just hate running my mud boat on that river. Too much big traffic and big wakes!

Re: Mud Buddy V Sport Remote Steer
Glad you like the hammer ducaholic. I didn't like it. Lost top end, hole shot was just a little better than the big blade. It did throw one hell of a rooster-tail tho Glad you got your rig in to the OP. Let's see video and pics!

Having the trim button on the throttle control would be awesome.

Re: Mud Buddy V Sport Remote Steer
Barnes to my best recollection, MB said from the get go 4300+ rpms are needed. And as far as keeping RPMs down, my motor was capable of turning it to 5k no problem, but I did have a PVT motor and not a BPS.
