I took the boat out for the first time with the 23mini and it blew it has a worn prop and me (140) and my daughter (40) my buddy (250) and I was lucky to move maybe 5 mph throwing a wake a crew boat would be jealous of so once again I need help

What are the specs on the boat?

short transom 16" its a 15.5 by 42 semi v

does this look right

Are you running it trimmed down like that? Set up looks right kinda hard to tell with it trimmed down like that

the trim bolt was broke when I got it

Yeah it looks ok,like i said was it down all the way when you were running?

no the fastest it ran was just under water look more like my old longtail running than a surface drive

When taking off did the bow come up any? Any splash over the transom?

not even a little I had my buddy the bulk of the weight move to the middle of the boat then to the front no change all it did was plow no splash over the transom but the bottom of the belt housing look like it was dragging

How do you have the weight distributed in the boat?

usually its me battery and gas tank in the back of the boat then ice chest and other passengers usually just wife and daughter toward the front of boat

What rpms?

If your prop is worn badly you can have problems like what your having.

From those pics it looks like your prop is toast

What size is your prop? It could be worn down to nothing, and if it is, you'll never get up on plane. Take more pics of your prop - closer. Also, measure it up against what it's supposed to be. outside Diameter

I had the same problem a few years ago with a 23. It is def. your prop.

its like 9x3 now it says its suppose to be like 11x10

he did tell me it was worn I never looked at it didn't think it would make that big a deal he said he was running rocks but that's what mud buddy and team camo said mb11" prop

That's a tall transom boat with a short transom motor. The bottom of that motor should be about a inch above the bottom of the boat. The skeg of the motor is 1" away from the bottom, that's about a 3.5" wide skeg... So the bottom of your motor is 4.5-5" above.

Yea I saw that cjb. Look at the pics. Look how far up the Lu is from the bottom of the boat.
