good looking rig. For a stage 2, you aught to get better speeds than that. I run 34+ in a stage 2 PD and could be faster if I pitch my prop. Check your prop for wear.

17'10" x48". 3/16" bottom, 1/8" sides, 5" cat walk. Fully welded false floor, ah fuck it. I can run that with 4 grown men in my shit with 15 gal of fuel, not a 6 gal portable. And I measured my prop the other day, it's 11 7/8", worn to shit. He should be running better.

@diddyduck...I have three hrs on the engine now and this is what I had done thru J...Cam, Timing Key, SS Exhaust, Kand N Filter, Head Work and Mikuni. I'm guessing this is considered a Stage 2? That being said...what do you suggest I do to get it up to par?

I'd say you are not far off on the speed. I run 32 or so in my 1848, and I believe your boat would be a little heavier. How many rpm are you turning?

Just give it time you going to pick up a little more speed once the prop gets some hours and you get a little tiller time running it. ;)
