Finally got my new skiff!
17'6x48
3 /16 bottom 1/8 sides
Double bottom
3 cross braces
12 Gallon Fuel Tank
36 Pro-Drive with Mikuni
Conditions ran: Windy/chopp
30mph steady 2 men.
26-27 4 men.

Congrats on the boat!

What are the advantages of a skiff? Are they better in coastal areas that can get rougher seas? I've just never seen them up here, but they seem to be prevalent in the Gulf coast.

Good looking skiff! Aucoin definitely used to build some of the slickest looking boats around.
