Thinking about getting this exact setup, 1854. Wondering about how much room there is with both welded in rod or gun boxes like this one. |

I had 1 of the rod boxes in my 18x54 CC and sold it cause I thought it was in the way. And although the back deck is awesome for fishing you won't be able to hunt comfortably out of your seat behind the console. There is nowhere to put your feet when facing port or starboard. Let us know what you go with once you pull the trigger. |

My business has that same exact model. The rod box has already been taken out. It takes up too much space. I love the back of the boat but like he stated above, it is not good for hunting. We actually get better speeds than I thought out of this thing. |

Anyone have any opinions on a cc 1854 that has 10'' catwalks and full length handrails? |

I have full 10 catwalks and love them for fishing, shelving during hunts. Note I don't have a cc |

I have a GTR1854 CC. I think I would have liked to get the catwalks, but I would not want full length handrails. |

I'd go 8" catwalks. I like a more open floor. Boxes seem to end up getting filled w crap you don't use or need. |
