Just got a 18x54 prodigy with a 35 gtr. Took it out hunting this past weekend and the boat did awesome. It ran 22 with me, two other guys , dog, and decoys. Ran it at The landing by myself with hunting gear and it ran 25. The gator tail is a little diffrent than my mud buddy. Couldn't really get the reverse to work that great but probably operator error. |

Glad you like the boat, did you have the reverse handle pulled super tight |

Love mine as well. The reverse is definitely not super powerful but Dmax is right, you have to squeeze the handle tight. The best results for me is trim the motor all the way down and don't be afraid to give it some gas! The first time you get stuck you will really appreciate the reverse! |

I wasn't giving it a lot of gas maybe 2000 rpms but I did have it squeezed tight. I will have to try to give it more gas next time. What pin should I run it in it's in the second hole down now |

Squeeze tight, and trim down. It will pull. |

I am running mine in the second. I tried it in the top and it ran equally as good in my opinion |

Yeah, get down on the throttle, as long as you have handle tight. |

Is your 35 gtr stock and how is your boat rigged out? |
