| Post subject: | eBay Short Tail Plans- anybody used them? |
I've built 3 longtail motors from the MMM eBay plans, and all performed great. I have sold them, thinking that I would eventually build a short tail/ surface drive instead. That longtail was hard to maneuver through timber. Anywho, has anybody here ever purchased the plans and/or built a motor from the short tail plans on eBay? I was thinking about ordering a copy, but am hesitant because I can't find any info on anybody ever building the motor. The seller, of course, says the motor works great. Go figure. I was wanting an unbiased opinion before buying the plans. Thanks in advance. |

Include mm brand,hp and boat brand in title. 2. Include speeds in shallow and deep water if possible. 3. Hunting load carrying ablity if possible. 4. Conditions tested in, approx weight in boat when tested. 5. Size of boat, layout, things you like or dislike about it. 6. Please don't ask ?'s in your review, ask questions in the CMF Forum 7. Please post as many pictures as you want. 8. All pros & cons about entire set up, how it runs in mud etc.. 9. If you don't see your post here, its because it didn't follow these simple rules. You won't be notified either. 10.
