I had a 12 HP copperhead on a 1436 that would do 20mph consistently. The 9.5 river run on the same boat didn't come close. They claimed 18-20 mph I could barely bump 13. 16 minutes in to my first time out I was stranded with a broken belt. I practically gave it away to get rid of it. The reverse was an absolute joke it was more of a brake if you wanted to stop. |
