First of after the mishap with the first motor i was a little bumed out!! This new motor is totally a hole differant baby!! Its not as big as the other but still pops a pretty nice punch in the load department!! I been running it and everytime i get in it, it gets a little better!!

Mods
Flat top piston little bigger than stock
120 connector rods
small cam
BPS carb( which i love)
stock intake
Marshmello exaust
Stock heads (just port & polished)
Gator-tail cut intake adaptor
On my 17X52 extreme runs 31-32 mph deep water.at 4300 rpms. Good conditions will run 33! 4 peep, pop up blind, dog, brush, 4-5 dozen decoys 17 gallons gas and all our gear 29-30 mph. I really like this motor alot and think it will last fingers crossed LOL

You will really like the BPS set-up nice fit and finish to it. You might want to check out Deadbird8's intake work on a standard intake manifold. It works great with the Bps setup. JMOIMG_9151-1.JPG

i like that your not turning anymore than 4300 rpms and can carry a 4 man load at those speeds...sounds like you have a real nice setup and hopefully your motor will hold up for a long time. congrats.

Thats a good strong engine you have. Never have i saw a boat run the same speed loaded as it does lite. I was also impressed with how strong it reversed!!
