Does anyone have this setup? If so pros and cons. I have a 1644 crawdad right now, was thinking of swapping boats |

Before someone makes a smartass comment, the review section is for the reviewing of a boat and motor combo only. Listing speeds in shallow and deep water, speeds empty, loaded etc. don't know of anyone running that combo on here but the copperhead guys say those engines run best on a 1542 flat bottom that is light weight. I know muddoctor (phowler boats) had ran them on his sneak boats and light series Jon boats they build. Try to find a light flat bottomed boat for best performance. If your getting a good deal on the war eagle I'm sure it will run just fine. |

It performs fine on my crawdad. 27 to 25 with me 25 to 23 with 2 people. I've out performed many other boats. (Not going to name them and start a argument.) I just think I would like the war eagle better if it performed right. I've had 4 different war eagles all with outboards. |
