I started off stock last year with 5 hours on the boat when i got it. Wasnt pushing weight good. Top speed was some where around 20 moh. I now have 180 hours. Ive modded to a mikuni carb, voodoo exhaust, and hopkins 2 blade prop. Boat weight stays around 300lb load 24/7. Am running 29 mph by myself. 26 with 2 people. And full hunting load including 5 grown men, dog, bags/guns, 4 dozen decyoys, 2 7 gallon tanks gas, got on plane no problem and hit maybe 13/15 mph. Much better performance out of the mods.

How did a carb and an exhaust all of a sudden add 9mph to top end? Wouldn't that be maybe 2-3 mph total added hp? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

20 before the mods was low for an 1854 with a stock engine. I'd say that's more of a 25moh rig, so the carb and exhaust and prop change are adding 4ish mph. The after mod speeds seem more accurate than the before. #CFFITR #TheGhostBoat #whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor
