Post Anyone run this or have advice?
My goal is to upgrade to a surface drive, leaning towards a Gator Tail.
I currently run a 2000 Lowe 1760mt. This has been a great boat for me and I plan to keep it.
I have been running a MB longtail, 35 with pipes, and Mikuni carb.
I had pods put on the boat which made a big difference in getting on plane.
I can run 12-13 with 2 guys dog and gear.
I have been happy with it for 15 years, but as I get older, the work I get day in and day out is wearing on this old guy.
I ran my buddies surface drive and was sold that I needed to upgrade and pick up some more speed.
Now if I could run 25-30, that would be great, so a stock motor might be all I need.

I'm looking for your thoughts on putting 35 or 37 Gator tail on my Lowe 1760mt?

Does anyone run something similar?

Thanks

Steve

Ok, that was pretty funny!
Seemed like there are other similar posts in this section, so I was a little confused on where to post.
Now, how about just being a gentleman and recommend where it should be posted?
I'll be happy to comply.

Cyber mudfest, boats, or engines. any of the above would work. I also would bet if you did some searching, you'd get the answers you were looking for without having to wait so long on everyone that has helpful info related to your question to log on and respond, which this time of year could be a while. Just use Google and include mudmotortalk or mmt at the end of your search. get creative with the searches and you'll find some good advice and probably some entertaining junk, too.
