MM Brand: Mud Buddy Horsepower:37 EFI Boat Brand: Prodigy Boat Size: 1751 .125ga hull Boat Layout: Driver side half box, hunt deck, catwalks, trays, turf, 8 gal. fuel tank, bow rails Speeds | Shallow Water: N/A Speeds | Deep Water: 28.5 Total Boat Load With Gear Etc: Myself (155 lbs), 8 gallons gas, battery. Conditions Tested In: Calm deep water, no wind. Comments: I’m a pretty new member here. In the past I’ve had a 27MB on a 1648 and a 40hp outboard on a 1652. So this is my first new boat and so far I’m pretty happy. With just me it’s running 28.5 mph at about 4100 rpms. With myself and a buddy (350 lbs) it’s running 27. Gets up on plane great with both of us in it. That’s with a stock big blade. I haven’t had the chance to run 3 people or a hunt load yet, so how it runs under more weight is yet to be seen. The boat is built beautifully and working with Prodigy was a great experience. Hopefully I can get it on the river with a hunt load soon, but I think it will perform fine. Let me know what you guys think. Thanks for looking Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Here’s an update for anyone interested. I ran the boat yesterday with 4 guys in it, about an 850 lb load. The boat ran 23.5 mph at about 4000 rpm and planed no problem. I’m really happy with that performance from a stock 37. Im still learning what the boat and motor like from a weight distribution standpoint, once I get that dialed in it should run pretty smooth no matter what load is in the boat. We had a decent hunt too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
