Looking for feedback or reviews from anyone who has experience with prodigy Razor hull and mudmotor. Trying to get a hull that I can use one some larger water respectively (Chesapeake Bay) and still get into skinny mud areas in the coastal areas around the bay. Flat bottom is not ideal as the swells can get 3 feet. Not that I'm always out in that but I don't want to be too restricted... Obviously not going to go where the large center consoles do and I'll pick my days but hoping to get a rig that can do both.

Thinking of a 1756 24in sides razor hull with a v rake and a 40 EFI HDR. Thanks in advance.

3 years ago. Now it's time to take what I learned on that hull and get one more purpose built.

I would suggest an 1860 at minimum for those needs. A 2060 would do all that better. Only go smaller if you feel a real need to have a 17ft boat. A 2060 will do real well shallow and still be safe enough in the bay to not be quite so iffy.

Thanks Russ! I was considering it but we have a 17 bankes boat for the big big water... Just trying to cover bases on that build cause sometimes you have to cross bigger water here to get to the skinny. No planning on spending a ton of time on big water so my thought was smaller for weight reduction.

You have any hooking on the weldbilt? Are you going to go with pods on the purpose built boat? Are you aware that feb/march 2017 was 2 years ago?

Bigbend no hooks on the Weldbilt. But I can see that you aren't interested in providing valuable input. If you haven't ran a razor hull no need to be commenting boss.

Razor hull is just a different bottom that prodigy offers. It's not a flat bottom but I saw a number of their hulls had them with mm so I was just curious if anyone had ever ran one. Ended up getting their prodigy chine hull after speaking with Chad who was a huge help and more than willing to talk with me and provide his experiences and suggestions on my build.

Round chine is sooooooo much better in curves. Take it from a lifelong crawfish hull guy lol
