Boat: 18/48 Aucoin Skiff 3/16 bottom n transom 1/8 sides 14.5 gallon tank Motor: 32 ProDrive w/ lil daddy mods Head work EVT exhaust Cam Prop: Stock 36 Speeds: me, (280 lbs) ice chest w/ 2 cases of beer and ice, battery, full tank of gas Deep water: 28.6 constant 29.3 several times Shalow Water: 30.4 constant 31.2 best i could get didnt put anyone else in the boat the weekend, i wanted to, but was too busy playing around. overall i am very pleased wth the work done. i ran a lil behind paul (gatorpoint) the whole weekend. we basically ahve the same rig / mods, except he has carb and i have cam. also he has a pd 36. later on in the months to come, with the river rising every day, the boat will be put to a load test when crawfish start running. |

take all the BS out the boat (beer) and cut back to 5 gallons gass see what she does.....put a hopkins on her and I bet you get 32 mph Its funny fokes a few weeks ago said 3/16 was not needed and would slow your roll. good review and lets see what she does with 1500 in her or if you want to take your girl and beer let us know how she does with 1800 in her. later |

WTF would i wana take shit out the boat thats always gona be in therE? gas and beer WIL ALWYS be in that boat!! im also not puttin no forkin hopkins on there. shits overpriced and not needed. im not bitchin over a mile or two. i'll never own a boat w/o double bottom or 3/16. my opinion. why would anyone even think of getin a big ass boat and slackin on size aluminum? |

Aluminum is a soft metal. The thicker you go the more abuse it can take but everything has limits. |

I think a 4x20 sheet of 3/16 weighs 70#s more than the same sheet of 1/8. Its all depends on what you plan to do with it. Every little bit of weight saved helps. And 3/16 may give you a better piece of mind. And the way its braced makes a difference. Just like deciding on a PD or a GT, everything is a trade off. Just got to get what fits your needs best. |

Dang Justin, I'm running the same speeds as you with my stock 36. The only difference in our boats is I have .100 double bottom vs your 1/8" double bottom and I have 20" sides vs your 24" sides. Even with that it shouldn't make that much of a difference. I figured your speeds would be a little better that 28. Your sure it's running correctly? Or is that what was expected from a 32? |

he has more weight in the boat and a smaller motor with mods. For a modded 32 with that size boat it sounds about right to me. |

im sending my 32 prop to sum1 to get reworked for a modded motor. also mite see if i can get a hopkins from sum1 just to use for a lil while. im only runnin a mile or two slower than paul. brooks, with my mods, all i did was gain bottom end and torque. once i get the carb and intake in a few weeks i will gain a few miles im sure. also, my sides are 21", and i have 3/16 double floor. |

Nice rig - the best part is you got what you wanted... If it isn't too much to ask - how much did it cost for the hull ??? |

Thats some good speeds for a 32pd. I've got a 32pd stock on a 15' skiff and my top speed is 24 with nothing much in the boat. you think if i have a longer boat it would be faster. It would be nice to be able to touch 30 on the gps without doing any mods. to my motor. |
