35hp longtail?
I have had a 23hpGDLT for the 9 years now. Looking at going bigger. Heard some people talk about how the 35s are hard to handle. Anyone out there have one and are they that much harder to handle then my 23 (which I don't think is hard to handle at all)? Also looking at the Mud Buddy. Pros vs Cons. Thanks for any input.

Re: 35hp longtail?
iv owned plenty longtails from a 5.5, 9,16,18,20,and now a 31. which is basically the same as the 35. i think if your going in a straight line the larger ones get easier but when your turning remember your at alot higher speed than a 23 motor so it's a litle tougher. and when theyr bogged down uner mud i can sometimes put my whole bodyweight on the handle and it wont come out. but the power is incedible, plenty worth the little bit more effort it takes to run one. i got a 20' boat and have lots of power to spare. might have mine up for sale soon to get a sd for the top speeds.
