6 mo? has the truck been down that long or have you been searchin for where that hose goes for that long?

i havent been able to go fishing or anything for the last 6 months. long story short, the guy who works for us is a transmission mechanic and my timing belt went out. he changed it 4 me, but he cant figure out where 1 vacuum hose goes after everything is put back together. its the only vacuum hose that comes from the box that the air filter goes in. it looks so simple, but we cant find where it goes. it has a "pcv" valve on it. PLEASE!!! any1 who knows any1 who owns a 01 nissan frontier, could u please tell me where this hose goes? its the ONLY hose again that comes off the intake box that houses the filter. please help me out, dis chitz drivin me CRAZY! thanx in advance, shaun |

I can understand that...... If ya cant find any help on this lawnmower site, there is always Autozone... Not sying the dipship behind the counter can help ya but they sell a book for bout 20.00 that can, im sure answer your question.... just saying... |

New to the Mud Motor thing but long term as search resource. Your local public library has probably paid for an online subscription to the automotive data books. Either a trip there or logon with your card number from home should get you detailed information. The next choice is and purchase a year of everything ever written for your vehicle. Hope this helps. The pcv valve is on the hose?? if it is look for a hole in the valve cover. if it just says it on the hose look for the pcv valve on the valve cover. How big is the hose? Im assuming this is a v6 right? Ill see if i can find something just need a lil more info. a pic would be great |

ok if it is the pcv hose the valve is gonna be on the back, drivers side of the intake manifold. It is threaded into the intake manifold close to the last "N" in Nissan which is imprinted into the intake manifold. not sure it that will help butt worth a look |
