Post subject:  Stump guards for prop?

Is it possible to put something around the prop on a LT to keep it from hitting stumps? i dont mind the frame hitting stumps but whe the prop hits them it nearly breaks my bonny wrist! i cud easily fab up somethin but afraid it will effect performance! anybody have any ideas? or is this just something i gota deal with?

yep u could make a stump protector, but anything u make will hangup in the grass, so it might not be worth it.

i run in mostly stumps and really shallow water and thick brush! not a whole lot of grass! any ideas on some guards i could build??

Just wait till it kicks you in the leg :x ...Then after the initial shock wears off, you wake up the next day wondering why your leg hurts so bad... :(


Like DA said... Its just something else to hang weeds on... But it will work for said purpose....

go online and look at sum of those rock guards for outboards to get a idea. or call go-devil and talk to them, they have seen and done just about everything with a go-devil.

Hey man I run a rock guard on mine from Go-Devil for just what your talking about. It works good ain't been in to much grass except salt water marsh and haven't had no problems.
