 27 kohler beavertail
Anyone have any experience with tearing down the carb on this motor, Does the jets come out? I took it apart and it seems that it comes apart into two assemblies, then I removed the float and needle cleaned all that and sprayed carb cleaner in all the ports, Any better ideas to clean this carb. Seems like it keeps choking out when it runs pretty open for longer than a minute. I already replaced the spark plugs and put new gas in it and replaced the fuel filter.

 Re: 27 kohler beavertail
you can also use a piece of small wire (single strand leader material works good) to help clean out the jets. between this and compressed air, they'll come clean.
