Post BBlades Prop - anyone use them
My GoDevil 9x6 is taking a bit of wear... Looking to get a new wheel and turn old one into a spare....

The BBlades looks really good on paper / webpages....

Has anyone used them - are they really better as far as wear resistance - are they as fast and strong in the mud as the current factory 9x6 from GoDevil ???

I had one on my 23gdlt and overall it perform similar, but lasted longer. The hex adapter is nice also, but noisy as hell when the prop is out of the water. Brett knows what he is doing when it comes to props. I believe he only sells them in 9x7 tho.

Had the 23 on a 1844 GD hull, with myself at 245 (at that time) and Magnum at 85 it ran right between 16 and 18. Speed difference between the props could be measured in tenths depending on conditions. More sand than mud up here, but in what mud we do have it seemed to dig very nice.
I went with it to see how it would hold up when compared to the factory GD.
I also tried the Stump-Jumper prop from Bills Engineering (http://www.stump-jumper.com/pages/home.html) and found that the two aftermarket props lasted longer.

Truth is the 08 / 09 newly redesigned Go Devil prop is a really good prop...
I'm getting 21 solo - 20 with gear and 18mph with 2 200 lb men and gear...
An it will plow like a mule in our medium sand/muddy bottoms...
I'm on a 9x6 - but will try a 9x7 - Bart my dealer offered me a chance to
field test one pitch up - can't pass up the chance to test it to see if there
is any extra speed to be had...

But - if there is another out there that lasts longer - i'm interested in finding out about it...

Thanks for the reply Mitch...
