Hey guys Im wondering what your opinoins are about a late 1990's 25 hp ltgd kohler engine. I have a chance to buy one that just got a new shaft, bearings, and seals put on for $1400. Was wondering if you guys had any experience on this motor and if this was a good price? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks |

imo they're are very good steady running motors. i like a vanguard bc they seem to have a quicker rev and jump but that kohler is steady and strong |

i've got a 25 kohler thats slightly modded and have never had a problem with it, always quick to start and plenty of torque and power |
