I've got a 1542 Alumacraft boat with a 13hp LT running 13mph average. It is just too slow to get from point A to point B. I like the Beavertails and was curious on which one I should go with. The 24hp is powered by a Honda and the 27hp is powered by the Kohler. Both these motors are about a 170lbs. The price is only $100 more for the 27hp. Is the Honda a better quality engine? |
