anyone runnin a 27 kohler gdlt on a 16x56? if so what rpm should i be gettin wide open/empty. with me a 2 people it aint movin, any input, i know the boat is probably too big for that motor to be gettin much speed |

GDSD 16x48 w 23 LT and 9x6 prop - new - 20 mph at 3500 submerged cav plate - 22mph at 3800 "surfacing mode" Add second 200 lb man 18 mph - submered and 19 mph surfacing Three men - sub-plane 9x7 - solo add 2mph - two men deduct 2 mph - overpitched for a load 9x6 - lost about 1 mph per 1/8" prop wear - bottom end still good to 3/8" loss - then bottom end gone too - measuring mid blade, more-so than just diameter. |
