First long tail mud motor

 First long tail mud motor
I just bought a go devil 25 koholer long tail and the first time I took it out the motor pushes the handle right to the floor almost when I power it up I did measure the prop and it was wore bad so I ordered a new one is this the cause of that or is there something else wrong any help would be much ap.

Adjust it using the tab on the cav. plate.

Yep, when you get your new prop bend the tab on the end up 1/8" at a time until it rides just below the surface of the water.
