 Best bearing locations?
First off let me apologize for my rookie posts. Also let me slide on my lack of knowledge of terms. I am having a 2 shafts built for my 13hp Thai Lt. I am taking out the wood bushings and replacing them. Should I replace them with 3 sets of bearings(upper, lower, middle). Or should I put upper and lower bearings in and put a PVC sleeve in the middle. I want to do it as right as possible. I will put here first before you guys do-"if you wanna do it right throw that piece off shit away and buy a godevil". Thanks for all the help.

 Re: Best bearing locations?
I totally appreciate all your advice. I don't think anybody is coming across as being rude. I understand how reading a newbies post could make you guys crazy. I convinced my dad to go 50 50 with me on a back water for next year. This year will be the year of bandaids. We are going to have a spare shaft on the boat that is why we are making 2. We made another housing also so if we break a shaft we will have the new shaft in the housing ready to bolt right on. Also went with brass bushings on lower section and stuck with the wood for the center and upper bushings. Got our 2 back water props in today. Again I appreciate everything.
