 1st longtail run = unsuccessful
gotta 6.5 power horse homemade and took it out this morning for the 1st time....i was goin through some really thick grass and weeds...fun stuff.....so i turn around to go back to the boat ramp and hit some weeds and as soon as i get out of them.....the motor shuts off and theres oil everywhere...any known ideas that could of caused this???? maybe keeping it wide open to long??? or maybe i have a pos motor!!

What kind of motor? What kind of frame? Where did it come out?

Oil plug off, filter came loose, bad seal at the crank, you forgot to stand on one leg,......
Kind of hard to diagnose - need more info
Pics help - but start with the basics - make sure your oil drain plugs are plugged for starters. Make sure your oil filter - if one - is tight. Think small - then go from there. Pm if you have questions.

sorry guys for the crappy info........i even know better than that....comes to find out the bolts were loose where the case seals together towards the back of the motor..i guess im gunna threadlock the crap out of them...
these bolts backed out b/c of the vibration....i wonder if there's anything i can do to get some of the vibration down??

I am not an expert like some on here, but I believe damaged prop and bad U joints can cause vibrations

Unbalanced shaft U joints Angle is off etc...
