Shaft prop nut creeping up to seal collar

 Shaft prop nut creeping up to seal collar Having a problem with nut between prop and seal collar creeping up to the collar. Any ideas how to keep it against the prop? BTW it's an OLD 8hp go-devil. When I got it not too long ago it was riding on the seal so I lowered the nuts prop etc. per go-devil cause it'll seize now it won't stay down

Re: Shaft prop nut creeping up to seal collar If there is room on the threads to use two jam nuts in front of the prop? Take those two and crank 'em together on the shaft to act as a stop.
