I'm transforming a Sea Nymph riveted 16 ft. Bass Boat in to a Duck boat using a 25 HP. Kohler Go Devil long tail. It has a 9 x 7 prop on it. I'm replacing all the wooden/carpeted decks for .090 aluminum, looking for a lighter boat. Also cut the tramson to 16" .
Do I need to change the prop in order to get a decent speed ?
I'll like to get some advice from the people with more LT experience.
